Frequently asked questions

Questions every client asks

What is the difference between a sworn and a general translation?

A sworn translation is done by a public translator licensed by the Brazilian Commercial Registry and has legal validity before official bodies. A general translation has the same quality but no official status: it is meant for informational, commercial or internal use.

How is the price calculated?

The price depends on the type of translation, the language pair, the amount of text (pages or words) and the turnaround you choose. Send us your document and get an exact, no-obligation quote.

Is a digital translation valid?

Yes. A sworn translation with a digital signature (ICP-Brasil certificate) is as valid as the paper version and is accepted by most institutions. If you need a printed copy, we can ship it too.

Is it safe to send my documents through the website?

Yes. Your files are used only for the quote and the translation, handled confidentially and in accordance with Brazilian data protection law (LGPD). See our privacy policy.

Do you handle the Hague Apostille?

Yes, as an additional, optional service. Just tell us what must be apostilled (the original, the translation or both), according to the receiving institution's requirements. The price (notary fee plus our service) is shown separately in the quote.
