About M²

Is M² Traduções reliable?

Yes. We work with licensed sworn translators and specialised professionals, with written quotes, agreed deadlines and direct support via WhatsApp and email.

Do you serve clients across Brazil and abroad?

Yes. The whole process can be done online, and delivery can be digital or printed, shipped to any address.

Security and sending documents

Is it safe to send my documents through the website?

Yes. Files are used exclusively for the quote and the translation and handled confidentially, in accordance with data protection law.

In what format should I send my files?

PDF, JPG or PNG, preferably sharp and with all edges visible. Well-lit phone photos are fine for the quote.

Sworn translations

Are the translators licensed by the Commercial Registry?

Yes. Every sworn translation is done and signed by a sworn public translator and commercial interpreter duly registered with the Brazilian Commercial Registry.

Is a digital translation accepted?

A translation with an ICP-Brasil digital signature is legally valid and accepted by most institutions. If the body requires paper, we ship the printed copy.

Technical, general and certified translations

What is technical translation?

It is the translation of specialised documents, such as reports, lab results, manuals and standards, by someone who masters the field's terminology.

What is a general translation?

A professional translation without official status, suitable for informational, commercial or internal use.

What is a certified translation?

It is a translation accompanied by a statement of accuracy signed by the translator, attesting that the translation matches the original. It is accepted, for example, by USCIS (USA), universities and companies abroad. Some authorities require a translator accredited in their own country (such as in Canada and Australia), so always confirm the requirement.

Proofreading and editing

Do you rewrite my text?

No. Proofreading corrects and improves the text, but respects your content, ideas and style. If you wish, changes can be tracked so you can accept or reject each one.

How do I receive the reviewed text?

You receive the final proofread version, ready to use. If you prefer, we also send the file in Word with Track Changes and comments on suggestions that need your decision.

Do you review academic work with ABNT standards?

Yes. We review final papers, dissertations, theses and articles, including standardised citations, references and formatting according to ABNT, APA or the standard required by your institution or journal.

Hague Apostille

Do you handle the Hague Apostille?

Yes, as an additional, optional service. Just tell us what must be apostilled (the original, the translation or both), according to the receiving institution's requirements. We handle the apostille at the notary office and ship it to your address. The price (notary fee plus our service) is shown separately in the quote.

Quotes, turnaround and payment

How do I get a quote?

Through the 3-step quote form on the website, or by sending your documents via WhatsApp. We reply with the price and turnaround time.

What payment methods do you accept?

Pix, bank transfer and credit card (via payment link, with instalment options). Companies: please ask about invoicing terms.

I need a translation very urgently. Can you help?

In most cases, yes. Choose Express Delivery in the quote form or message us on WhatsApp so we can check availability.

Support and changes

I sent the wrong document. What now?

No problem: contact us as soon as possible via WhatsApp or email. If the translation hasn't started yet, just replace the file.

I found an error in the original document.

Let us know before we approve the quote. In a sworn translation, the translator faithfully translates what is in the original, but may add a translator's note.
